November 1st Luis Pato – Vinha Pan 2010, 12 litre Balthazar bottle – A classic from the Bairrada region.
Luis Pato is part of a small group of wine makers who never abandoned the wine variety Baga. He was revolutionary in turning the Bairrada region into a hotspot for wine lovers worldwide. Vinha Pan is a unique, single plot wine that can compete against the most renowned wine lands.
November 8th Domaine des Perdrix – Echezeaux Grand Cru 2017, 6 litre Imperial bottle – We all love Pinot!
Domainde de Perdrix is a wine maker from the 90’s, that first sold its production to a trade firm and is now developing and promoting its own label. Echezeaux is a unique Burgundy AOC and the opening of one of its bottles is always a great reason to celebrate!
November 15th José Maria da Fonseca – Hexagon 2009, 9 litre Salmanazar bottle – A true legend from the Atlantic coast.
José Maria da Fonseca is one of the most romantic producers in Portugal and one of the biggest collectors of grape varieties. Hexagon is a combination of 6 different grapes, each one of them representing a generation after the founder.
November 22nd Casa Lapostolle – Clos Apalta 2015, 9 litre Salmanazar bottle – A superstar from Chile.
Apalta is located 170 Kilometers South West of Santiago, in the Colchagua Valley. Clos Apalta is a wine based on the Carmenère variety and it is the epitome of the Lapostolle house. French in essence, this is a classic wine making school with a Chilean twist.
November 29th Chateau Giscours – Margaux 2016, 12 litre Balthazar bottle – Troisième Grand Cru Classé.
The first record of Giscours vines dates back to 1552, however it was only in the nineteenth century that the estate became one of the pearls of Margaux AOC. Based in the left bank, where Cabernet shines, this wine will always be a great test for our senses.
